About Kendra
Kendra finds her biggest inspiration in the beauty of Mother Nature and in traveling the world. She pairs that inspiration with a passion for functionality and minimalism to create homes that rise up and greet you.
Born and raised in Boston, MA, Kendra has called many cities home and now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two young boys.
After attending Syracuse University, Kendra spent a decade in the corporate world doing brand and product marketing. She bought her first home in 2009 and quickly became obsessed with interior design. In 2018, she and her husband bought a fixer-upper in the Bay Area, and in 2020 she founded Rise Up Home.
Over the past six years, Kendra has transformed client spaces across the Bay Area. She works seamlessly alongside architects, builders, and subcontractors to bring each client’s vision to life, treating every home as a personal passion project and every new challenge as a chance to create something specific to you.
